Upgrading to the SS Compression fittings

Post by 1971hemicuda »

So, I've bought the upgraded SS Compression fittings for the temp probes, but they are designed just a bit differently than the brass ones. I've used compression fittings before, but not this type. How do I put this thing together?

The o-rings replace the compression ring. The compression ring is included just in case you want to make a permanent connection or crimp it to the tip so you can't accidentally pull the probe out.

Only 1 o-ring is really needed, but I find 2 gives a little better seal.

anyone got an exploded view of how they go together - including the o-rings - or can someone explain it explicitly.

I'm a complete noob with these things so don't really know what I'm doing.

Usually you use 1 o-ring and the other shown is a spare.
