Raspberry Pi to control a Bcs-460

Hi Everyone,
Is anyone on here experienced with Raspberry Pi's. I have mounted a Pi and their new touch screen onto my control box so I can access the controller while at my rig in the garage. I have done this so I can start processes and make minor adjustments. I also want to be able to access the Bcs-460 from my home network via the wifi I have setup on the Pi. I do not have space in the control box for a switch etc so will be connecting directly from the Pi to the controller and then bridge the wifi and Ethernet connections.
Can anyone help as all I have managed to do so far is get the wifi working.
Kind Regards,
Sam Logan
