Operating System Compatibility

Post by bradleybiscuits »

Hi guys.
Can someone confirm for me that the BSC-462 will operate on an Android tablet running Android 5.0 Lollipop?
Failing that am I safe to assume that Windows 10 is good to go?

Much appreciated

The BCS runs independently from an OS- It's only viewed/controlled/programmed with a browser so as long as your browser is compatible (I'd recommend Chrome) you should be good to go. The new 4.0 has mobile compatible layout so even on my android phone (Android 6.0) that makes using it a breeze compared to the 3.x versions.

I have a large screen Android device running 4.0 and it works fine as long as you use Chrome. I haven't tried the stock browser app.

I haven't used Windows 10, but Chrome on any platform should work fine. We try to keep it working on all modern browsers but Chrome is what I'm using for development.
