The new documentation is available here: http://docs.embeddedcc.com/

Since most users have moved on to the 4.x version of the firmware, much of the Wiki pages have become outdated and were causing confusion and support issues.

If for some reason there is something there you really do need to reference, a copy of the docs can be found here: : https://web.archive.org/web/20160813021 ... /Main_Page

JonW thanks for this 3.7.1 documentation link (minus the images for some reason??),https://web.archive.org/web/20160813021 ... re_the_BCS. I am still using the 3.7.1 firmware and it will be sometime before I get to 4.x firmware.

I had gone off to look for the 3.7.1 documentation and specifically the specifications page which I found here, https://web.archive.org/web/20160811110 ... ifications. I have chosen to download the page. I did not find similar specifications in the 4.0 documentation. I may have missed such though. In any event, the specifications are rather useful.

If I wanted to utilize the old HMI for simple fermentation controls would version 3.7.1 be the last version that used the HMI? Found the new process very cumbersome on version 4.+ and for simple fermentation controls with the HMI it was very beautiful. I am using a BCS-460 and would like to do the same with a 462. Where are the old images stored at? Not seeing them in the Wayback links that used to be wiki. Thank you

Firmware v3.7.1 - released 2/7/2014

If anyone has the old firmware that utilized the HMI for a BCS-462 could you please send me a dropbox link to steelhead396 @ gmail.com please.

Here's the 3.7.1 firmware: http://www.embeddedcc.com/firm/v37_1/bcs460.bin

Very curious what you feel is cumbersome in 4.x firmware? We've had overwhelming positive feedback of the UI and state/process programming.

The new UI is incredible!!! For fermentation, 3.7 was super simple. It just needed two exit conditions and with a simple HMI it is beautiful. I hosted a solid works image of a couple fermenters, added an indicator light in the HMI and when the glycol solenoid was open a big green light was lit above the fermenter. Add a touch screen and it was even better. Nothing out on the market came even close especially with a DNS redirect adding connectivity from anywhere in the world. Yeah I know someone could have hit it with a denial of service attack but I just backed up the config files and rock it remotely.

Very much looking forward to doing the same with the new UI but it has been such a challenge that I would be completely lost if not for this groups incredible help!!! Thank you for all of the time this group has put into the growth of the BCS and helping others.

The wiring examples are missing from the 'Learn' section linked from the main web page. It's taken me way too much (wasted) time to find this hidden wiki with it's much needed wiring info.

It would be ideal to move the old wiring info back into Learn section to help the noobs (me) out.
