Are you applying power to the BCS in addition to attaching the USB cable? It must be powered up by 12V.

Yes, the BCS is powered up and I can see it in the browser before I connect the USB cable to computer.

Very odd. Can you go to "Device Manager" and see if you have any unknown devices. When plugging in the USB, do you get any kind of audible confirmation that a device was attached to your system? It should appear in device manager even if you haven't loaded the driver with Zadig.

No unknown devices in Device Manager, and no sound on the computer when I plug the usb cable from the BCS in. If I plug any other device into the USB ports like an iphone into the computer it does make a sound though.

Do you have one of the first batch units with the thicker end plates? I'm wondering if the USB cable isn't making a good contact. Can you test it without the end plate on the case?

Yes, it's one of the 1st batch units with the thicker end plates. I'll try without the end plate tomorrow or this weekend.

Took some time this morning to take off the end plate that has the USB connection. After taking the end plate off, I plugged in the usb cable to my computer and received a tone that something was plugged into my computer. Windows came up with a message that the BCS-482 is connected. Zadig even displayed the BCS-482 without me having to do anything. I ran thru the flash and now I am at version 4.1.3.

Awesome! I knew there had to be a reason you weren't seeing anything show up.

Power cycle before flash, then power cycle after flash. I'd suggest flashing again with this process.
