Boil off rate and duty cycle

On my system I have been setting my duty rate on the boil to 75. I find that allows for the bubbling to stop by the time the element kicks back on. The issue with that is my boil off rate in the summer is around 2 gallons an hour.
Think it safe to lower my duty to reduce my boil off? I know it isn't apples to apples but what are other people setting their rate at?
