Transitions between processes

Post by S. Parks »

I am in the process of an automated build wiht the BCS-460 and an expansion card. My question is relative to exit states. I know you can use and exit condition to transition to the next state. . . but . . . Is it possible to do and exit state from one process, to another process? If not, could it be considered in future upgrades? ;) I'll post pictures of my build progress soon and look for some feedback.

Yes, look at the spawn & kill process options. When exiting a state in a process, you can start or stop other processes. This is good for chaining process control for end-to-end automation.

I don't have a spawn/ kill processes option. Unless I'm looking in the wrong place

You'll need to update your firmware, it was introduced in the latest version 3.3
