- Is it possible to configure the system to use degrees celsius?
- What kind of power adapter is used?
Use in Europe
Use in Europe
I am thinking about using a BCS-460 for my homebrew setup. As I am in Europe (Oslo, Norway to be more precise), I have a couple of questions:
Re: Use in Europe
Hello gustavf, and welcome.
The current BCS-460 supports only Fahrenheit. The next firmware revision will support Celsius, due to be complete in a few weeks. I'll post on the forum when its complete, so stay tuned!
For the power supply, a 6VDC 1amp transformer with 3.5mm O.D. plug is what ships with the BCS-460. We don't have any European 2 prong supplies in stock, but I will try to locate some for sale in a generally accessible online source. The BCS-460 needs the DC voltage to be more than 5V, and less than 12.

Re: Use in Europe
I am not sure if there is a need for you to sell european power supplies. Most buyers of the BCS-460 will probably be able to understand what kind to get, as long as it is documented somewhere that is easy to find. It is, after all, not the kind of product that appeals to people unable to understand a little bit of wiring
