I con figure my alarm email. I am running some test in the bcs462 programing forcins alars but I dont get any emails.

It is my understanding that your ISP may block Port 25. I know Verizon Fios does. The e-mail alarm uses Port 25 according to previous threads. If it is blocked, the e-mail is blocked. I do not know of a work around.

in the absence of alarm I download team viewer so I can connect remotely and see what is going on

I use Teamviewer as well.stay one your home network. Easy to setup and all you need is another old computer on your home network. You do not need to know anything about ports, IP addresses, Firewalls or other things associated with Remote computing.
