Glycol Chiller Control Ladder Logic

Post by Patent Brewery »

This is the ladder logic I used to turn on and off my glycol chilling.
Using a DPDt switch with center-off.
One side switches DIN0 for Automatic operation controlled by BCS
Other side switches DIN1 for constant on.
Proc0 is the glycol chiller and glycol bath pump control.
Proc1, 2, 3, 4 are four fermenters.

The goal is to be able to toggle the glycol chiller on max to supply a heat exchanger on brew days, and toggle it off entirely when ambient temps are much lower than ferm setpoints.

This seems to be working. Please let me know if I understand the ladder logic correctly.

Looks good to me! It's nice to see when people make the effort to learn the capability of ladder logic.
