Adam,
I am curious about this mode.
First off let me say, Very cool.
I see that the WIki has some updated information on it, but I was wondering, If I start this mode let's say to keep a refrigerator at a certain temperature and ramp down over a few days to a lower temp, and in the middle of the movement to a lower temp I stop the process and restart, does the ramp mode restart its' time and temperature as if I just input it, or does it continue at the ramp temp and time? I guess what I am asking is, what triggers it to start again ?
Ramp Setpoint Mode
Re: Ramp Setpoint Mode
Thanks. This was a feature that was requested during the beta testing.
As you mentioned, I just updated the wiki, although the information is still pretty sparse. But I wanted to at least get something in there. Ramp mode has a dedicated set of timers, similar to the timers that you can use in states. They are handled in much the same manner, when a process enters a state, it resets the timer to the inital value and enables it to run. So unfortunately running/stopping a process with reset ramp mode.
