BTW, It's called "Brew Buddy" - or did I download the wrong thing? BTW, where are the promised hot chicks in the program, you said you snuck them in somehow...

OK, so I just bought and paid for my first iphone app - Brew Buddy. I bought my BCS a long time ago and have just now gotten around to getting it integrated into my system and was hoping that this would make it easier to use. But I'm afraid it still confuses the hell outta me. Is there any documentation on how to use this app? Looks like the website just points you to the ECC wiki page... I could be in trouble here...

What would you like to know? The brew buddy is providing a window into a subset of the bcs information and controls. Showing temps, timers, active processes and allows you to turn on uncontrolled outputs if you desire. I use the control of outputs when I am priming my pumps.

I'm just totally lost on this thing (BCS) at the moment. I've got to spend some time on it this week and I'll either figure out how to use it, or start bugging you with some questions. Let's hope the first option works!

Thanks for the quick response tho!

#1 seems to be working... slowly...

Other then some network issues, not related to the Brewbuddy software, everything appears to be progressing!

I hear ya, i am working on my second generation bcs box(which is as much a labor of love as it is functional) I spent 2 hours jamming to music and wiring stuff last night, totally enjoyable, but completely incomprehensible to non-bcs type personalities. :)

I don't own an Iphone/pod at this point, using an LG Dare. What I really want to know is how exactly does the thing communicate with the BCS? Is it through an IP address or bluetooth?

Is an update needed for the BrewBuddy App after the 2.0 BCS firmware update? My PC and MAC can see the BCS fine in the browser fine, but with the brewbuddy app now it errors out every 6-7 seconds after the error count hits 3 or 4. The temp readings on the app are the same as in the browser... I am not aware of any settings in the app to change the error message from appearing.
