Share Canvas Widget

Does any one have some code to share. I really do not want to learn Java, but am good at copying and changing existing code if I can figure it out.

I have found a few but not exactly what I want quite yet. I looked at the sample in the Wiki (Blue Dot). It looks like you have to "draw" the widget using code. I was hoping for some code that could load an image file.

Yahoo. I made my own widget using the sample code at http://www.embeddedcc.com/hmi/external.js

Can you use a gif as a widget object (widgetObj) ? There is some code on the web that looks like you can, but the code I saw was "dynamic" so you would need to be connected for it to work.
